THE EQUINOX GUARD COLLECTIONThe Equinox Guard Collection is an extremely lightweight set of gear that is designed to decrease bites from bugs yet remain durable enough to perform in the wild. In order to achieve this, we partnered with a third party lab to help choose various types of fabrics that fit our highly specific set of criteria. Then the testing began. By releasing mosquitoes into controlled environments containing a ‘heated blood memory textile’ we were able to accurately measure how many of those mosquitoes were able to feed through the test sample fabrics. After multiple rounds of testing across numerous types of fabrics, we found a solution that drastically reduced the number of bites. Paired with an added layer of protection; permethrin directly infused into the garment, the Equinox Guard Collection is an extremely lightweight system that you keeps you comfortable and protected at the same time. NO BITESUltra-lightweight, breathable, tightly knit stretch fabric prevents bites. Hoody paired with pants and gloves provides head-to-toe protection. DESIGNED WITH HUNTERS IN MINDAll items from Equinox Guard Collection feature unique elements that make them even better. Long tail of the hoody can be tucked into pants for additional insulation. Longer cuffs of the gloves offers better protection. The pants have a dedicated knife pocket. DURABILITYA lot of existing solutions are bulky, too hot, include DEET or release smell into the environment. The Equinox Guard collection utilizes mechanical properties to help prevent contact with bugs.
